A recipient of the Gold Award with the Shinmyung Wind Orchestra at the 44th Korea National Brasswind Competition in 2019, Jeongdae Lee currently serves as Adjunct Professor at Keimyung University in South Korea. He was the founding music director of Daegu Edubiz Orchestra, a civic orchestra comprised of music teachers and professionals from various fields in South Korea. He also founded the Queens Camerata of New York, a chamber orchestra featuring talented young musicians based in New York, and currently serves as the conductor of the Daegu Kyowon Orchestra.

Jeongdae Lee earned his Master of Music degree in Conducting at Queens College, studying under Dr. Mark Powell, where he frequently conducted the Queens College Orchestra and various ensembles. His principal conducting mentors include Sung Kwak, Yoonhak Baek, Markand Thakar, and Mark Powell.
